Hutchinson River Nature Walk

Please RSVP Below

The Hutchinson River is a cherished body of water in New York State. It contains a watershed that spans 12,394 acres across both Westchester County and the Bronx. Protection of this watershed is critical as its river flows south into the Eastchester Bay of Long Island Sound.

On Sunday, March 24, we will honor the beauty of the Hutchinson River a day after the United Nations’ World Water Day, a day that is traditionally used to advocate for clean water and the sustainable management of fresh water resources.

Join Save the Sound, the Hutchinson River Restoration Project, and Westchester Land Trust for a nature walk visit to the river and hear from experts regarding the status of the Hutchinson River Watershed Plan and related clean water management efforts.
