Tricia’s connection with Long Island Sound began at a young age. A lifetime boater on the Sound, she sailed competitively and cruised recreationally with her parents and then with her husband and four children.  For the past 25 years, she has been involved with youth sailing organizations and clubs on the Sound. Tricia served on the board of the Junior Sailing Association of Long Island Sound, which she later chaired, an organization that supports over 45 junior sailing programs from Shelter Island to City Island. Additionally, she worked at SUNY Maritime College Waterfront implementing programs and activities based around water activities and preservation. In her early career, Tricia was a marketing and events manager supporting a broad range of companies including NatWest Bank, NBA and NBC.

Tricia believes its important for boaters to have an appreciation for the environment through which they enjoy their sport. This brought her to Save the Sound. As a Major Gift Manager, she hopes to help support a healthy Long Island Sound.
