Scott is Save the Sound’s Senior Manager of Doherty Climate Change & Resilience Institute, focusing on moving policy ideas into action by mobilizing people, coalition-building, advocacy, and voter education efforts. In 2023, he left his first career in technology, where he held product development leadership roles in startups and global enterprises (including IBM & Dell), to work on preserving our lands, water, and air while addressing the impacts of climate change in our CT cities and towns. He has a degree from Northeastern University and a graduate certificate from UConn in Nonprofit Leadership, as well as certifications in DEI, Design Thinking, Woodland Management, and Climate Change advocacy.

Scott lives in Monroe, CT with his wife, and has two adult children. He enjoys tending to his vegetable & pollinator gardens as well as backpacking. He’s hiked most of the Appalachian & New England National Scenic Trails, climbed 20 of the US state highpoints, and the 67 tallest mountains of New England. Scott also serves on the boards of three nonprofit organizations across New England.
