CFE/Save the Sound Annual Facebook Photo Contest Going On Now!

Did you know that our annual Facebook photo contest is happening right now?

CFE/Save the Sound is excited to kick off its third annual Facebook photo contest.  This year’s contest is going to be a little different- we are holding one for CFE and one for Save the Sound.

Save the Sound Contest

Show us your favorite critter, sunset over the Sound, or anything that is quintessential Long Island Sound! You can enter up to three photos; just email them to kbroatch@savethesound.org or post them to Save the Sound’s Facebook wall between January 2 – January 16.

CFE Contest

Whether it’s of your favorite state park, inland stream, or open space, send us your photos that capture the essence of Connecticut’s natural beauty! You can enter up to three photos; just email them to lmcmillan@ctenvironment.org or post them to CFE’s Facebook wall between January 2- January 16.

Voting

From January 17 to January 21, fans of CFE on Facebook and of Save the Sound on Facebook will get to vote for their favorite entries. The top photo on each page with the most “likes” will win (hint: tell your friends!).

Prizes

The Save the Sound photo with the most votes receives a Save the Sound membership, BPA-free reusable water bottle, and the photo will be used as our Facebook banner.

The CFE photo with the most votes receives a CFE membership, BPA-free reusable water bottle, and the photo will be used as our Facebook banner.

We’ll also have a separate category for our budding photographers under the age of 13, and we’ll choose a winner to receive a reusable BPA-free Save the Sound water bottle.

This is a great opportunity to show off your beautiful photos of Connecticut, Long Island Sound, and its natural wonders.  Your work may even be featured on our website, brochures, or office walls like the winning photo from last year!
