Allison joined Save the Sound after working for over a decade in the cultural sector, where she served in program and development roles at several tristate area institutions, including Japan Society and Americans for the Arts, and led small organizations such as the artist DISTORT’s studio and ShuaSpace, both in Jersey City. For seven years, Allison curated No Such Arts, which centered contemporary social issues and the cultivation of community through the arts. Allison has also worked as a graphic designer, ghostwriter, and flight attendant. She holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and an MA in Arts Administration from Columbia University.
In her spare time, Allison can be found visiting museums, caring for her garden, and otherwise generally mucking about in nature.
