BRANFORD, CONN. – May 12, 2022 – Stony Creek Brewery, a leading regional craft brewery located in Branford, Connecticut, announces today the release of its new Save the Sound Light Lager. This new beer, developed in collaboration with regional environmental nonprofit Save the Sound, will highlight the value of shared natural resources and raise money to protect and improve the land, air, and water of Connecticut and Long Island Sound. For every purchase made, Stony Creek Brewery will donate a portion of the proceeds to Save the Sound.

Save the Sound Light Lager is currently available exclusively on draft at Stony Creek’s taproom and select establishments. In the coming weeks, it will be available at retail locations across the Northeast in both 6- and 12-pack options. In keeping with Save the Sound’s mission, Save the Sound Light Lager will be available in eco-friendly packaging to minimize the use of plastic.
Save the Sound Light Lager is a unique Helles lager, crafted with the finest floor-malted German malts and balanced with a hint of earthy Tettnanger hops. The result is a bright and crisp beer with a slightly sweet flavor and a light mouthfeel – the ideal pairing for a warm summer day by the water.
