March for Science
New York City, Hartford, and New Haven
Saturday, April 22
Join CFE/Save the Sound for the March for Science New York City, a sister march to the March for Science in Washington, D.C. We’ll be marching to demonstrate support for science-based policies and to celebrate the science that allows us to better protect and preserve the land, air, and water of Connecticut and Long Island Sound.
Can’t make it to New York? Come find our table at the March for Science Hartford rally, or connect with us at the March for Science New Haven.

Earth Action Day

Bring your kids to the Port Washington Public Library between 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. for a special Earth Day fair. Save the Sound will have activities to help teach kids about water quality! Let us know you’re coming.
Climate Change in Connecticut and the World

Megan Saunders of the Stamford 2030 Program will join Keith Edwards of Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project for a presentation and discussion focused on Climate Change in Connecticut and the World at the Byram Shubert Library in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Hike The Preserve with Chris Cryder

Get outside on Earth Day weekend! Join Chris Cryder for a guided hike of The Preserve from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Hikers will gather at The Preserve’s eastern parking area off of Ingham Hill Road in Essex, Connecticut. This will be a moderate hike with some steep hills. Contact Chris Cryder with questions.
