Hard Work Pays Off at Hyde Pond

Volunteers of all ages came together to restore the stream bank along Whitford Brook in Mystic, CT. This family-friendly event was a great way to kick-off Mother’s Day weekend by giving back to Mother Earth and celebrating the new migration route for mother fish!

Hyde Pond underwent an amazing transformation. It is now well on its way to providing a rich habitat for plants & animals to call home. But until then we will be keeping a close eye on the area and monitoring its progress.

None of this would have been possible without the hard-work and dedication of our partners and volunteers. Thank you to everyone that came out!
