Holiday Tribute Cards are here!

Sending our Holiday Tribute Card tells a special someone that you made a donation to CFE/Save the Sound in their honor.

Longtime CFE member Linda Zonana never imagined her winter scene would be the subject of CFE/Save the Sound’s Holiday Tribute Card. “I took the photograph one early morning just after dawn, which accounts for the dramatic lighting and brilliant colors,” she explains. “The shot was taken from Pleasant Point on the Stony Creek Harbor estuary in Branford, Connecticut. I’m pleased that it’s being put to work to help raise funds for CFE’s environmental initiatives.”

Thanks to Linda’s creative photography, you can make Connecticut Fund for the Environment and its bi-state program Save the Sound part of your holiday giving with this year’s Holiday Tribute Card. Share warm wishes this holiday season while supporting the environmental work you care about. CFE member Raphe Elkind had this to say about sending our tribute cards last year. “I really enjoy being able to both share a message about CFE, whose work I’m so passionate about, and letting my friends know I’m thinking about them,” he said.

Order tribute cards by calling Michelle LeMere at (203) 787-0646, ext. 104. We respectfully request a minimum donation of $10 per tribute card to cover our costs and provide a donation toward our environmental initiatives.

We hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity to honor family, friends and colleagues, while spreading a message about protecting the environment this holiday season.
