On December 10, 2012, Transit for Connecticut, a workgroup of CFE, is holding a transportation funding forum to discuss where we are now and what’s next to move the state forward.
We are extremely excited for this year’s event. Our keynote speaker is Jack Basso, director of program and finance management for The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials.
Additionally, we will be convening a panel of experts who will discuss the state’s needs and react to our keynote speaker. Panelists include:
- Emil Frankel, Bipartisan Policy Center
- Oz Griebel, MetroHartford Alliance
- Joe McGee, The Business Council of Fairfield County
- Commissioner Jim Redeker, ConnDOT
Registration begins at 8:30 A.M. and the forum program will run from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. in the Old Judiciary Room at the State Capitol.
Interested in attending the event? RSVP to Valerie Wormely-Radford at vwormely-radford@ctenvironment.org with your name and contact information.
