This Thursday, we will be having our inaugural Young Friends of Save the Sound party at library lounge at 360 State Street in New Haven.
360 State Street is Connecticut’s first residence targeting LEED-Platinum certified building, with a fuel cell, electric car charging stations, and a green roof, among many other green features. This building is worth seeing in its own right because its the region’s largest energy-efficient and transit-oriented development project.
We will be gathering there from 6:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. in the lounge and (if weather permits) outside on the pool deck. DJ Dave Coon (who also spins at Café 9) will be providing the music.
Join like-minded folks to hear more about what we are doing to protect the New Haven area watershed and Long Island Sound. Cool door prizes will also be given to a few lucky responders.
Food and beverage is being provided by Caseus, Cask Republic, Koffee, Claire’s, Christine Kim, Elm City Market, Park Central Tavern, Christopher Martin’s, Nica’s, Marketa, Judie’s Bakery, Wave Hill Breads, Jones Winery, Eder Brothers Distributors, and more!
The party is $25 in advance (purchase tickets here) and $30 at the door and you also get a one-year membership to Save the Sound.
